The first international athletics match for Scotland was held in 1895 following the Irish suggestion of 1893. The series carried on until 1913. In 1914 the series continued as a Triangular International with England being added to the mix. Many of the very best international athletes from all three nations competed at one time or another in the series, AAA’s and national champions, record holders from all countries and even world record holders and Olympians took part. The series will be recorded here over the coming weeks and so far we have the series to 1904 on site.
